A Global Ban on Left Wing Politics? November 6, 2013

A Global Ban on Left Wing Politics?

By George Monbiot, published in the Guardian 5th November 2013

Here’s an interesting take on what the TPP could be about.

Anyone at all curious about this Trans Pacific Partnership?

The fact that it’s all hush hush and secret like is making me very very nervous.

I kind of figured it might be about taking control of the internet. Because it’s our last bastion of finding out some truth and sharing of knowledge but it seems huge in scope and somehow I don’t think it’s gonna be one of those all cosy loved up let’s be friends with our neighbours and sell shit to each other, kind of deal trade agreements are usually about.

More proof that supposedly elected governments have been infiltrated by world order goons. Why would a supposedly left wing government espouse a policy that would in essence destroy itself?

Could this be why our governments have no teeth now to look after us, they are scared or coerced into submission by the threat of litigation from their corporate overlords?

Here’s an example of what it could mean;

During its financial crisis, and in response to public anger over rocketing charges, Argentina imposed a freeze on people’s energy and water bills (does this sound familiar?). It was sued by the international utility companies whose vast bills had prompted the government to act. For this and other such crimes, it has been forced to pay out over a billion dollars in compensation(4).

Go read, tell me what you think.

When it’s secret …….. it’s never good for regular people. You know that, Tubularsock knows that and regular people knows that. So how do “THEY” get away with it?

    • Good question!!
      We allow it??
We don’t think we have the power to say no?
We don’t realise that we have the power?
The odds are stacked against us – they have the military complex behind them?
And a lot of us quite frankly don’t give a flying one about politics as long as we’ve got TV-beer-footy …..it’s just so damn hard to think about…so we choose not to.
      That’s how
Also worth mentioning is the climate of fear created by ‘terrorism’ (false flag) – unemployment & homelessness (or fear of it) – makes it difficult to form any kind of resistance when you are battling just to survive.
OOh this is making me angry….just thinking about what greed and lust for money and power does to people.

I think you nailed it when you said that many of us are “just battling to survive”. The squeeze is on as we earn less, pay more for everything and are busy working to make ends meet for our families. All while the elite take more and more public wealth for their own private coffers. The fact that they have the military and intelligence agencies for their muscle is icing on the cake. Not to say that resistance is impossible but there are still too many people who believe their captors have their best interests in mind for them. First, the spell must be broken so the people can wake up and start to truly resist.

    • I have a funny feeling (and I could be wrong) that ‘something’ will happen to make the elite’s house of cards come tumbling down. We might as well resist while we are at it though and having an alternate plan or ideology ready to slot into place and prevent the existing power base to scrabble to retain their power over us. We are the seed planters, the knowledge sharers, the light bringers. Complacency will destroy and enslave us. Be aware and be ready. Grow your veg, get some chickens, learn to barter.
